Autonomous Drilling Systems - Drill Plan Management

This course explains the process for designing, creating, and applying Autonomous drill plans and geofences. It also discusses using and maintaining ADS information management platforms in all contexts of operations. You will also get an understanding of creating a report for all drilling activities.

Enrollment in this course is by invitation only

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Drill Plan Management using the Surface Manager platform.

Learners will gain an overview of the application’s core features and operational functions, enabling them to understand how drilling information is organized, monitored, and controlled within Autonomous and teleremote drilling environments. The training establishes a foundation for managing planning workflows efficiently through a centralized digital system.

You will explore Surface Manager widgets and interface components that support operational visibility and decision-making. The course explains how data is displayed, accessed, and interpreted to assist with planning activities, operational tracking, and production management. Emphasis is placed on understanding how system tools contribute to accurate planning and improved operational coordination.

The course also focuses on practical drill planning processes, including the preparation of Drill Plans, hole sequencing, and approach angle management. Learners will be introduced to essential Tools and Object Management functions used to configure, edit, and maintain drilling data. By the end of the training, participants will be able to manage Drill Plans effectively, maintain structured planning workflows, and support safe and efficient Autonomous drilling operations.
