In Field Drill Operator / Leading Hands / Drill Control Support

Autonomous Drilling Systems - Drill Operator Site Support

This training introduces Autonomous Drilling Systems (ADS) and the critical safety systems required for safe operations. It covers the full drilling process, including planning, execution, and safe interaction through the Safe to Board (STB) process. Participants also learn to design drill plans and geofences and use ADS platforms for monitoring and reporting.

Enrollment in this course is by invitation only

Role Pathway - Autonomous Drilling Systems - P20-Drill Operator Site Support; has been specifically structured to provide training for the mining site roles including -  In-Field Drill Operators, Leading Hands and Drill Control Support.

This training introduces Autonomous Drilling Systems (ADS) and builds awareness of critical safety systems. It covers the full operational process, from bench preparation and pattern design to inspection, sign-off, and acceptance.

Participants learn how to use safety devices in line with OEM specifications and understand the Safe to Board (STB) process for safe interaction during autonomous operations.

The training also includes designing and applying drill plans and geofences. In addition, it covers the use of ADS information management platforms and reporting processes to support efficient operations.
